  • My first real bike, a 16" white tyred Universal Panther BMX. I remember it being a lot better than all the other kids panthers as the white and red one was a special edition and much better than the plain red, blue or yellow ones which were more common.

    I remember seeing one not so long ago, and was sickened by how completely shit it was. I remember how awesome it felt as a kid, but my god it was actually horrid. Still much better than the kids bikes of today, with multiple gears, suspension etc that weigh a ton and break. I used to always fix my bike myself, and know for a fact I wouldve chopped my fingers off if I had disc brakes like todays kids bikes.

    Also the bike I longed for when I got too big for the 16", was a Diamond Back Venom BMX. Also now looking back it was absolutley horrid.
