after getting hooked on the Alleycatz NYC vids on the tube have tried a friends fixie and although I nearly killed myself and chucked various limbs of mine over the bars all in one go !, I have to say i'm hooked it feels so direct and just 'right' ...... so gonna look at going singlespeed on the Record first then try it fixed..... maybe if brave enough

do it man - I would recommend you forget the singlespeed stage though and just go for it with the fixed...good on yer for getting back on your bike too!
