How long have you been riding fixed

Was just thinking about it last night while riding around. I love it, but have only had a fixed gear for 4 months.

So... wanted to see what the rest of you are like.

Are we all hipster fakengers, or do most have longer fixed traditions?

About 1.5 years ago about the same time the trend kicked off. I jumped on the bandwagon, and what!

no, it would be about 32 years in that case!

So you're counting the slightly larger kiddie trikes then?

about 2.5 years ago when a mate gave me one.

3 years if you're talking about fixed
15 if you're talking single speed (mountain bikes & BMX)

Rode my dads old winter trainer fixed for a couple of years back in 1999-2001 then mostly just BMX until about 9 months ago, so 2 years 9 months, or 9 years, or 9 months depending on how you want to measure it.

Finished building my first fixed just over a year ago and love it more with each passing day... Love it, I tell you! :D

rode fixed (track) for 3 years, 21 years ago(!). have been riding fixed for the last 18 months.

A bit like RPM - 27 years, with a lull in the middle, getting back into it (all bikes, including geared) in the early 90s.

I dabbled in track racing around 20 years ago but started riding fixed on the road in early 2007.

I've been wearing white jeans for years though so am a hipster first and foremost.
