Best use of old innertubes

Hmmm.. nice thread idea. So far I have used them for a few projects:

1. Protecting front forks. A length on each side.
   
2. Countless catapults* and Hawaiian slings* as a young-un.
   
3. Lighting fires - a short length works surprisingly well.
   
4. Straps for panniers.
   
   

*No animals suffered in the making of velocipedes childhood.
