im all for the vengeance trilogy! old boy is fucking wicked. and there should be a lfgss smoke sesh prior to the film. make the beer and monchies all the sweeter.

Old Boy is brilliant, Lady Vengeance is very good, but the other one, is not up to much. More like a (pythonesque answer) a Trilogy of two.

Eraserhead...Arghh! I watched it in the film tent at Latitude with the Guillemots playing there own soundtrack. Freaked me out completely!

Whoever suggested Arrested Development and The Wire are dead on for me (I've got all three seasons of AD and all five of The Wire on my computer if they're needed)

Also, as an addition to Japanese animated films I'd have to say Akira is a must (live action version is coming out in 2009 apparently)
