YES YES YES Hackney Marshes, the canal path, actually Lower Clapton is the best. And you never need to use Hackney central. I used to have small fires in Hackney Marsh and cook potatoes in foil in the fire, with a carry-out of cool beer, (kept cool byt the dirty stream) More problems in Dalston, stokie, Downs, in comparison Clapton is ok. You do get asked to join 3 somes should you vsist a late night shop at the top of Cricklewood Rd though. Homerton hospital is ok too for minor emergencies, and sure you can get all the way to Islington by th Canal if you wanna ride down Pentonville. YES I SAY CLAPTON> pick your neighbours carefully if you can, the houses have thin walls and bullets can go through them is did to one poor person in a late night showdown. The neighbour was killed sitting watching TV. The party goer survived.
