[SIZE=2]Has anyone got any experience of using paul component brake levers and nitto bars?
I have a set of nitto risers and also bullhorns and am looking to get some new brakes. As far as I can see the only options which might fit from paul components are:
the cross lever - 26mm diameter
the e lever - 23.8mm diameter
As a starter I am not too sure of the sizes of the nitto bars (and will measure them later tonight) but... I think the clamp area of the nitto bars is 26mm so the cross lever should fit easily. The grip area is, I think, 25.4 so can you shim it? (I have never done this with brakes but if you can do it with a stem and bar I presume you can do it with brakes.
The e lever seems to fit nitto bars from various posts I have seen but I am not sure why if it is a 23.8 diameter? Do you just get a longer screw? Or are nitto bars actually more like 23.8 diameter
Any advice to a very lost person gratefully received!
