There's a lot of forum members exerting their seniority at the moment. Can I join in?
-
• #308
Ok, but you'll need to clear it with GOD.

I plan on visiting in February. It's been quite a while (about 6 years). I stayed with a friend who was living out there at the time, so I can't say how much it would be now to lodge. I suppose a hostile will be my best bet huh? Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll be making this trip alone or not, but it would be nice to meet up and ride with some of you:) Any and all advice/suggestions are very much appreciated!

Just thought I'd introduce myself here. My name is Graham, and I currently live in Toronto. It seems every time I search something related to fg on Google, something comes up on this forum, so I have made a point of joining to be part of this community. I currently ride a Wilier Pista, Cofidis Team edition, but hated the paint job, so I had it custom redone. I am building up a 1999 Nagasawa this week as well. I also have a pair of road bikes - a Wilier Le Roi and a Corima Puma, as well as an older Litespeed MTB.

Hi Lucas,
Welcome to the forum.. 3 bikes in vaious states of repair is a good start. All you need is to meet a few peeps, earn a bona-fida celebrity lookalike and then you'll fit right in. :-) -

Hi everyone,
I have been riding fixed for a good two weeks now on a converted triathlon bike. I also just moved to Cardiff (from the Netherlands) and would be happy to meet people to ride with. I might also give Maindy cycle track a try - anyone ride there once in a while?
cheers,
Duckster

Don't do your local drinks. That's just stupid. Do the furthest from your house to maximise distances covered. -

Have been lurking for a while thought a good time to say 'hi to all' only just got back into bikes at the beginning of the year after not having riden a bike for nearly 20 yrs, so it has been a steep learning curve for me, but started on a mountain bike, I won't embarrass myself further with the details, but moved to an inheritted Raleigh Record Spring (reynolds 501) so nice and light but tweaked it and changed it to a bit of a commuter, flat bars/bar ends, ahead stem, Schwalbe tyres etc, but found myself riding it in top gear nearly all the time now so...... after getting hooked on the Alleycatz NYC vids on the tube have tried a friends fixie and although I nearly killed myself and chucked various limbs of mine over the bars all in one go !, I have to say i'm hooked it feels so direct and just 'right' ...... so gonna look at going singlespeed on the Record first then try it fixed..... maybe if brave enough
I heard that he was into Dykes.
