  • it's only slippery and impractical when it's really wet (as I found out the hard way commuting back home in the torrent).

I solved this by simply using my cycling glove, but generally it's not slippery, actually i find that the Nitto AA heat treated drop bar felt softer for some reason, is it just me?

Clutching slippery bars will make your hands and forearms a lot more tired a lot more quickly. Plus in really wet weather they are really slippery, even with gloves, as you note. Putting tape on the bars means that you can have a secure grip without clutching so hard.

You tend to notice the difference over any real distance, or during hard sprints.

As for the one hardened metal bar feeling softer to the touch than another - erm, no. It's in your head.

  • OH yeah... names and faces, right?
well you've missed your chance now. ;-)

Exactly! It's not the names and legs thread :)

  • I actually find her frustratingly cute...

you're welcome to her mate. Mind you she was probably no more bonkers than your average girl, just more open about it

  • langster spotted, sureley the only reason to stay away from scientology?

her new bikes bloody nice though. Maybe you get upgraded as you progress through the tiers?

  • A suggestion - stop talking about ENI as if she's not in the room?

So long as we don't get spammed with the spiritual videos again we should welcome fellow riders...

    Nice bike btw, Eni.

  • Beck is a Scientologist. Always troubles me that one.

    good point, sorry.

    ENI Starcity, I think you're a mentalist.

  • I just looked this up

    This is a $5000 bike

This has got to be the richest bike on ere

    It's nice though innit

Wouldn't want to park it anywhere though

and for that money I'd be tempted to buy gears and ride the Brest...:)

i paid way less than that, inface i bought the frame cheaper than the trade price

My brother studied at HKPU and always told me that its not really logical to ride there. Hes not a bikey type tho...

  • change of mind:)

    Looks better, I think...

  • Beck is a Scientologist. Always troubles me that one.

    Ouch, yeah that stings.

I feel sorry for scientologists. I'm also slightly scared of them.

  • this is a swag bike!

  • you're welcome to her mate. Mind you she was probably no more bonkers than your average girl, just more open about it

the area around hkpu is the worst place to ride in hk
where i live is better to ride apart from the air pollution

  • Big up to one and all,
Here I am on my bike. If you see me riding around say hello.

    Peace Tim

  • Oh well messed that up again. Perhaps it would be easier if I described it to you as I'm not that good on the interweb thing. I'm the Rasta who rides a nice pink mtb fixed around mainly south London.

  • Anyone fancy a pint?

  • JAH tim, welcome dude, used to see you quite a bit when living south of the river. nice set of wheels my memory tells me

  • OM NOM NOM!

    I have a white bike now. I can't skid for shit :-)

I believe he got an utterly nuts deal from (I'm guessing) the same source as the Colnago Dream frames he has an angle on. Kudos. Not seen pics of anyone riding one of those on the street.
