On the way back from work tonight, rolling down Essex Road, past Mosquito, coming up to the lights at Essex Road station, my chain jumped off as I was skidding to avoid a cunt in a car who swerved left. I couldn't stop in time and the traffic crossing the intersection was getting closer. So I had to leap onto the ground.
I have a massive bruise on the whole of my right thigh, road rash (to add to the polo road rash) and 2 quite badly cracked ribs. And I also put a nice dent in my macbook pro, which fortunately still works fine!
I don't want any sympathy, as I probably deserved it for something I've done or said in the past. I just wanted to let people know.
