Alternatively/additionally, if there is enough interest I will set up a group order for one design with portland cyclewear, which will work out at about half the price (ish). There were concerns over how ethical they might be, but if theres enough demand for a cheaper product and you can cope with the blood on your hands its an option... Don't want to step on ben's toes though!
Don't worry about my toes, I just want a jersey, however I seriously doubt you could get Portland for half the price for a number of reasons. They are in the US and therefore will incur large import taxes (try and avoid that on a couple of boxes full of jerseys), shipping costs and also, if using Portland, quality issues that others have mentioned. Also, when I looked into it the cost was half the Woolistic price if we had a bunch of PLAIN jerseys, start getting embroidery on there and cost rises significantly. I would not be surprised if the total price was very similar to what Woolistic have said they can do for us from inside the EU.
Personally I don't care that much about the ethics behind them being made in China, I don't think it has been proven that Portland use sweat shop labour, although I'm happy to be corrected here if I'm wrong.
Anyone who want's to change a design please feel free to do so. I've only tried to get them out of people in the first place and then corrale (sp) all of them into one place for people to choose. None of them are my work. I think that we could do with more to choose from and I can speak to Woolisitc about doing two designs if choosing one is too contentious.
Anyway, if we want to get this done before winter we should try and reach agreement soonish. Part of me prefers going slightly more simplistic in designs and leaving out things like the 'spok, just for general cleaness and for something that will age well. I also love the design with the 'spok in. BTW You can vote for as many as you want.

Hmm, I need to extend the length of the poll, is it possible? I wanted to get things moving and now it's going to finish on 24th when we need longer for sure.

Cheers dude, hopefully it will work out and we'll become some sort of fixed gear Hell's Angels, or something.
Yeah, been unavoidably absent for the last two but I'll be back next week, ableit fairly briefly, got some old friends coming round about 1930 - 2000. I'll be straight up after work though so should be there by 6 ish. I've been recruiting more northerners though, should have a couple more next week hopefully.

Do we really have to place this order in Portland, Oregon, for goods made in China?

Here's my vision
I like this one as well. Maybe in pink to go with my bike. But then again I cant really ask for a whole range of jerseys to be made for my bike when others will be getting them as well.

Dose this mean we will roam the country on our fixed's with our women sat scantily clad on panier racks smashing up joints and getting involved with gang warfare?
PS. To all Hell's Angels who might be reading this, this is not a slight its just how Hell's Angels are portrayed in films.

Sounds good to me. I think I might skip the initiation bit where they piss all over each other, as fun as it sounds I think there are better ways to wash wool.
We can smash up the Flask next time we're there, might as well start with somewhere that the locals aren't going to fight back, well apart from Minty but we'll just stamp on his throat or something.

so has a design been chosen?

I like the 2 colour one (big pic). I'd happily put down cash for both long and short sleeve.
