ok, I have a Miche BB and a Viscount frame. That's all i have. I have no clue. I am floundering in deep water without a paddle. I am at people's mercy. I guess i need grease... sorry to be so pathetic.
I could just come down and borrow the tool if that would be less hassle...
thanks so much

Van Damage- what have you got that you need to fit?
Give us all something to work with and we'll all help, then voila! Complete bike.

whoops, sorry, went out so missed the follow up...
I have a headset, shimano one, a set of cranks, peddles, a set of handlebars and stem, a front brake, a brake lever(bit worried it's the wrong type though). two wheels(back one not tensioned entirely), two tires, two inner tubes, no cog or chain. a frame and some forks, but the forks have a too long post which hasn't got a long enough thread, so i need a thread cutter and a hacksaw...
bet you wont read this in time... before everyones already there... I'm gonna take the tube with all this stufff. it would kill me to cycle with it from clapton to clapham...

Sorry this hasn't happened in a while. Hopefully it will soon.
Beth.. if there is anything you don't get done at the bbq, you are more than welcome to pop over one evening this week. Or even tuesday day time?

Ok... there wont be an open toolbox this sunday because of the polo tournament.
The week after will be the last open toolbox ever.It has been great to meet you all because of it, had some good times and made some good friends, even if all they are after are the free tools and breakfast's!
At the end of the month i will be moving into a workshop down the road, as its being shared i am afraid i wont be able to keep the OT going.
I am sure that Mary will still be continuing the vegan breakfast's for all those that are interested. So add it to the diary
24th August
You know the score, come over about 11 and fix bikes and hang out before heading down to polo...thanks for the memories :P

i, personally, think this is really lame and sad. i think it's definitely possible to keep the open toolbox going because the workshop is litreally a minute walk and tools could EASILY be transported between house and workshop for a sunday. he is just being lazy and mean. boo to matt.

Ok...
in true babnk holiday style (hopefully with the oh so unfashionable sunny weather)
Tomoorw will not only see the last open toolbox, but also the firtst open vegan barbecue.Come over about 1pm for a bbq, and about 11ish (depending on where this night takes me, londons calling fest and all that) if you need things doing.
I know the londons calling is still going on tomo day time, but it would be great if you can come.
please bring small cash donations for marys cooking and a few beers.
Also... does any body have a bbq we could borrow... we have a rather diy type one and coal to use, but something a bit larger would be nicer

Ok.. so that was it. The last Open Toolbox as we know it.
Thankyou to everyone that has ever been over. It has been great to meet all of you. Thanks must also go out to my housemates for putting up with the noise of angle grinders and drills on a sunday morning. I am most greatful for Mary's wonderful breakfast cooking. The OT would have been nothing without it.
So what does the future hold... I will still be around with tools, but now my workshop will be out of the house. Still on Shacklewell Lane, but sharing the space with a frame builder.
For more details on that please check www.thehubcycles.co.uk.Many thanks once again
