Hit by a bus

I only ever pass a bus if I can move right over to the middle of the right hand lane,

I just dont trust bus drivers. It seems a little extreme that this particular one didnt even react to nosferatu being IN FRONT though.

My anger comes from: the increasing frequency of stories like these on our forum, also from personal experience with idiots on the road.
I can't knock off the cost of policing from my council tax bill but the utter contempt of the police towards those that pay pay their wages just drives my rage up (to 11!)

Grooves there is a world of difference between flying a plane and driving a London bus.
Bus drivers make around £500 a week and TFL advertise with the comment "anyone with a full driving license can make a great bus driver" - pilots don't have to deal with cyclist...

Partial agreement. You pays your money and place you safety in the hands of the bloke/lass in the driver seat. I didn't force anyone to take the job on knowing it pays a measly monkey per week. To some degree I do give a shit about the welfare of drivers. Unlike the world of automobiles with its advances in car safety DARWINISM works on cyclists. But there seems to be an increase in the incidence of fucktards getting behind the wheel pulling off ever brazen moves.

My point is you can't put yourself in the drivers shoes, the same way the next bus driver who takes an offensive line against you in the next 48hrs can't possibly get in your head.. fuck if he could he'd fking hide!

I'm not on about giving him a tarrot reading or being his quack- just totally selfish and dangerous driving.

We share the road in town with a fair % of people not fit to be on the road. that will always be the case

I don't have any time for bus drivers and i don't care for them. just as i don't care for the Previas tagged with the blue sticker of death, hive vans with drivers who have no concept of the vehicles width, white vans... and Taxis during rush hour always forcing a space.

The only reason to go on the attach is when this is done with intent. Like with Minh a. this driver is trying to do his job. Shit i know Drs who have bad days and they have life's in their hands?

I see too many bus drivers that go all out to give way to fellow bus drivers in blocked bus lanes so I see this type of move at best, as cynical at worse: down right selfish, dangerous and cynical.

Whilst you can't legislate for what other road users are going to do, are you telling me that if/when you're in a bus lane and see a blockage you brake to a halt then dismount despite the bus being behind you? Though I really want to know MORE details of this incident, my sentiment remains.
You can not over estimate the importance of eye contact or outright signaling- assumption is the mother of all 73's all over your langster! Also it doesn't hurt to acknowledge/thank other road users that give us way or do the right/nice thing ny us.
