  • Nosferatu, based on what you've put written here, that collision is the fault of the bus driver. Unless there are specific mitigating circumstances, for which public carriage companies are insured anyway, and you weren't riding very erratically, you had right of way and he should have anticipated/reacted to your movements.
    Furthermore, and I can't stress this enough, he commited the more serious act of attempting to leave the scene of an accident. It's only by sheer circumstance that he was unsuccessful.
    Two crimes for the price of one. This really should be reported. I realise that the process is tedious and arduous but really quite important. The police and authorities know full well that a lot of seemingly minor incidents go unreported and use that to their advantage.
