Fair enough to be a bit parochial, but even with the live stuff, the way they jump about gives you no sense of narrative to the competition. Commercials every 2 mins doesn't help either.
they keep using the 'word' phenom. As in: "Phelps is now the winningest (ugh) Olympian ever. The man is a phenom."
