  • "What's got Billy so spooked?"

  • "Turn around…"

  • Are you Frankie Boyle off of Mock The Week?

  • Nice work novocaine. I love the hint of green on that elbow. How did you get the snakebite effect?

  • "any time"

    3 weeks ago:

  • First one reminds me of when I went down the inside of Stockwell bowl trying to brake with my face. Didn't go quite as deep I went for the more even application of ouch. Shaving was complicated for weeks.

  • Yeah, I grew a pathetic beard for a fortnight, then shaved round the scar, then thought "fuck it" and just took the scan off with the razor. Because of that it's cleared up much better than the one below my eye.

I was using my face to slow down because some piece of shit excuse of a life private cabbie hit me from behind before helping me to the side of the road (apparently) before driving off.

  • Alas I got cannoned in mid air by a skateboard so no foul. Mind you the grubby little anklebiter was closer to tears than me and suitably apologetic. He even offered to get his mum to drive me home.

  • gravel is a cruel master at night. almost heeled now. shoulder is still sore though.

    no not frankie sorry.

  • This thread title just made me piss myself, "Show us your scars" indeed. Like I'd ever have time to work out how many scars I actually have, let alone photograph them. I couldn't even tell you how many I've added this year...

  • I could...none!

  • You don't try hard enough then. I'll help you add a couple tonight.

  • This happened a few months ago snowboarding. Shin + rail.

Tons of others but way too lazy to take pics. :)

  • How?

  • Lost a bit of tattoo a few weeks ago, came off on cobbles. No pics of that arm though.
Do have pics of my nice head damage though. Hit a curb in Austin, TX, woke up covered in blood held up by a cop.

  • ^ I was blocking traffic... my spinal condition was immaterial to the needs of TX pickup truck drivers.

I couldn't see properly for a month, image perfect double vision for a week, dizziness, nausea, I had to drop to my knees while walking a few times as I was about to fall over.
Was back on my bike the day after the crash, went to see my doctor on it, she went nuts, I denied it, was wearing fingerless gloves and drinking from a bike bottle, she looked outside and saw the bike.

Yes, no helmet... my skull is pretty solid it would seem.

  • I have the collarbone surgery scar but I am at work and not about to strip off to take photos.

  • I already had persistent BD, thanks to the free festival scene in the '80s

  • got two fingers stucked between running chain and crank

  • Anyone got any tips for reducing scaring.
I've got some real pretty ones but they are all on the back on my head where they don't bother me - just everyone else.

My latest collectors piece is a harry potter forehead face plant - its really bumming me out and the loss of my hollywood smile.

    Maybe i'll grow into it.

  • Given the tumbleweed since my last post, I guess I should start to used to how my face looks.

    Will give bio-oil a go

  • Scars are always cool, I draw extra ones on to look cooler. I do have pretty mashed up shins already though with a few more on knees and forearms and am missing half of one of my front teeth, never broke a bone though.

  • 3 scars in the making.
