yep... my boss who dislikes my cycling asked me to explain the velodrome sprints he was watching today. AND informed me about the new velodrome in London.

Yeah, it's a pain in the arse isn't it?
Damn them and their success.
How I long for the years of dismal failure... -

Better they're interested in cycling in a good way rather than hating you for clearly being better than them :)

One of the mags I work for organised a track day for architects at Herne Hill the other week... One particularly annoying colleague now likes to impress me with her knowledge of track cycling history cuz she's had to research it for the article they ran, she doesn't even own a bike... I think it's all good tho', the GB cycling team deserve the recognition...

There's only 3 of us at work and we all cycle, one is a motorcyclist. None of us, however, can fathom the Madison!

I'm the only cyclist here sob
City cunts. -
• #8
Surely there must be some triathletes amongst the super-driven city-types?
They are kind-of cyclists.. -
• #9
don't worry, it'll all be back to normal* by next week.
*"cyclist cunts getting in the way, running red lights, should be forced to wear numberplates etc"
-

Nobody here cycles either.
A bugger trying to set up ride2work. -

3 cyclists in my firm: Me, Mr Hybrid and Mr Brompton.
I seem to be the only one of our trio to avoid chatting inane bollocks about the events. Not to mention the others are ill-informed and were not aware of the inability to coast on a track bike.

They are kind-of cyclists..No triathletes here... Just rotund pundits.

Quality... :D
Maybe whilst the Olympics is on instead of "do a skiiiid !", people should shout that to each other...
WSMM!
The people at my work have started stopping me in the hallway or sticking their heads around my office door to talk to me, babbling over my magazine in the canteen. All because of these guys.
I want it to go back to the good old days where they just thought I was weird for wheeling my bike down the corridor or wearing funny shoes and ripped denim shorts. Now I am supposed to be a font of knowledge for them all to sup at.
Guess it is good for cycling, but I do have some boring bastards where I work.
Anybody noticed similar at their jobs?
