thanks, i saw that but it's hard to see the exact shape from the angle of that picture. from what corny tells me they might be a bit too retro for my tastes.

basically i'm after something fairly classic looking and on the narrow side in chrome.

I'm in the process of turning a otp genesis flyer into a quasi-plantation-owner kind of thing. i'm going for modern spec but a vaguely retro looking leather and chrome vibe.

i like nittos but soma stuff seems very reasonably priced. just struggling to find UK suppliers at the mo. but then my internet is taking a fucking age to do anything today which is seriously hampering the quest.

why not just get some cinelli criterium or GB bars/stem for that elusive, retrofitted, comedy look?

to be honest i'm wondering if classic cinellis might look a bit fragile or out of place on a slightly beefier modern bike like a flyer? i'm kind of leaning towards some 31.8mm deda drops cornelius b-foot has pointed out.

that's kind of what i was getting at with the modern/retro waffling above. modern spec but classic styling.

dooks. my mate has a set of unused major taylors hanging about if you just wanna give them a try. i used them for a few days (only cos my bars had been nicked) and they look alright but just look a bit twisted. like dali had a pop at them or something
