some ride geared race bikes round the inner bit of the velodrome when warming up/down, i guess these are also used as their training bikes?
being used to riding the perfect tool for the job on the track i would be surprised if they would want to compromise their training by using the wrong kind of bike to train on the road.(i.e. a track bike)
