Anyone know about Colnago Oval/Aero CX pursuit

Well going a bit off topic here, and no doubt we will end up sniping the same thing. But, in the spirit of fraternal fixed gearness, it is feckin crazy to bid directly on ebay - all you are doing is adding to the auction fever and driving the price up. Use auctionsniper.com, it allows you to set up an automated bid that will only be placed a few seconds before the auction closes. That way you stick to your maximum bid, and you don't let other people know you ebay-ish intentions.

these days people just put in their bid in a relaxed fashion, a few days before it ends, and they wait to see what happens.
