Prepping kit for eBay

I've got a few bits of kit that I'm planning on listing on eBay, but they're not in the A1 condition I've generally sold stuff in in the past, so was hoping for some tips.

Top of the list are two frames - both old Raleighs. One has had the braze-ons removed, the paint's a bit chipped and grubby, while it also has an object in the top tube that occasionally rattles. The other frame's forks are seized to the stem.

The first one I'm going to list as honestly as I can - nothing really wrong with it - just grubby - and the rattle isn't anything to do with the frame - some bugger tried to fill the brake routing with putty, only it got pushed through when I tried to remove it. The second one I need more help with - do I list the frame as is, making it clear that the forks are seized (they've literally been soaked in WD40 for weeks with no change) and let the buyer deal with it, or do I get some help from my friend Mr Hacksaw (PhD)?

Being as I have no use for the frames, I'd obviously like to get as much as I can for them, but what would sell better: a frame with seized forks, or a frame with no forks?

Similarly, I have a set of cottered cranks, which I probably would have binned if it wasn't for the fact that they have some interesting detailing on the chainring in the shape of the Raleigh logo. Problem is that the pedal threads are seized - and the pedals ain't in a good condition. Sell them as they are or just bin them?

I'm probably jabbering like an idiot, but in the past I've had no reason to worry because the parts I've been selling have always been in good condition - the last thing I want is to have someone come back and say I wasn't thorough enough in my description and neg me, or to list them only to have them not sell, or not sell as well as they could have done had I hacksawed forks/removed paint etc.

Dunno about the rest of it, but you could try soaking the forks/headset etc in penetrating oil for a few days and see if that helps. WD40 is just a solvent after all. Maybe heat them a bit too to expand the metal.
