We're working on a Brighton gig.

It is difficult, none of the venues I've contacted are keen. Quite possibly as they don't know anything about Roller Racing or Rollapaluza.

If you've got any leads pass them on to me.

what sort of things would you need from the venue? know a few people at the union woulc maybe could be a contender

+1 for the no-lycra, hard drinking, civilian massive.

+1, although I admit to stripping to bare lycra for the individual 2nd rd & quarter final. Rode quicker pissed, started to try to sober up when I realised that I'd be riding all the way home rather than catch the train.

Hope you're feeling better, BMMF. And you're not to old to give up just yet. I'm getting quicker with age, although at this rate I'll be about 85 before I win an event :S

i reckon it would interesting to have an event along the lines of skulling a half pint then racing 500m. or vice versa, i don't mind.

i do say half-pint because i think a full pint would get extremely messy, especially in the later rounds.

wasn't gonna be able to make this but managed to spin by and saw a lot of the madison. that is a real good addition to the roller fun, nice one. well done illy for getting amongst the prizes, and the trixies too of course.
