The Official Lgfss Arione Continues It's Epic Journey
Ffs!

Yep thought about that, I like the Arione though. Perhaps its Physiology. The Arione is dead flat tip to tail whereas the Flite is kind of contoured.
I will have a go at the tipping the nose slightly then revert to the Flite if I have no joy.
Pay attention to stretching the hip flexors. Too much tension there brings the pelvis into anterior tilt, bringing the pubis down onto the saddle...

it's true, they say the Arione breaks in bit on the flexy bits. the LGFSS arione was a bit more comfy than my brand new one for this reason.

oooh I wonder when I will get to have it... and how much it will cost!? I might get it for the price of some pork scratchings in 2011...
-
• #34
well, you never know, as word gets round and the kudos of having owned it at one time grows, the price may rise. get in now while it's cheap.

No fear guys, I'll be needing a blue one if it suits me, so the LFGSS Arione will no doubt resurface in a month or so! Keep your eyes out...

I've got a Charge Spoon and I have it angled down a small bit, much comfier on the lovegun, got terrible abuse about it when I mistakenly made my first post a post of my own bike in the Bike Porn thread.... How naive I was...all of about a week ago...

Yep, there is no quarter asked for, and none given on this forum. You need to be thick skinned ;)
I think you are right regarding nose down. It certainly would make it a little easier on the money maker!
I like the look of the charge spoon. It looks the business for much cheapness.
Thanks to all for the feedback. I anally put my spirit level on my Arione and tipped it a baw hair downwards.
I will see how I get on with that.
Cheers :)

Dredging this thread because it's been neglected... I have an undiagnosed ache/pain in my left ball, and the only way I can ride a bike (without my left leg going numb) is with the saddle pointed down slightly and nose pointing to the right.
Seems these days everyone carries on that flat or slightly nose up is the way, interesting to see the discussion here.
I mainly ride an SLR for the raised rear and narrow, flexible nose... I've found I can also get on ok with a rolls, but the SLR slight pointed down is the most comfortable for me of everything I've tried. Basically supporting my sit bones but not getting in the wa of my junk. Tried an Adamo but found the broad nose(s) an issue.

undiagnosed as in not recognized by a doctor?
-
• #44
I don't really understand what you just wrote, but undiagnosed as in examined, scanned, treated, scanned, examined, treated etc etc and still there.
-
• #45
sorry to hear that
(yes you answered my question) -

Well, ongoing a year and a half now.. Making an appointment for the new year to see (yet) another Dr in the quest for a cure/relief.
The last specialist I saw said, "looking at the latest scan I don't know what is wrong with you that I could treat"...
Thank you NHS

I'd speak to someone with experience in bike fitting than a doctor.
They would make a bigger difference than a doctor.

I had 2 months off the bike this spring due to a broken collar bone and the problem worsened, actually riding seems to help remedy the ache. Beginning to wonder if it is pressure on a nerve in my glute....

I'd speak to both...

I had constant pain in my hip/arse ( < yes it says stroke arse ) & couldn't sit still for long on even the most comfortable chair. After finding out what it was, some simple strethes relieved it within a week. I now do theses stretches after every ride.

Ignore the ads. It's the first illustration of the stretch I could find.
it's not new, i got it off murtle first. it's fine though, very serviceable.
