  • I've seen the mono fork setup on mountain bikes... how does it work on a road bike, is your wheel held on by just one bolt & does the wheel have lateral flex?

  • we have a few burrows mono forks literally kicking around in the workshop at bike fix.
    They have a tendancy to de-bond themsevles... other that that, perfect

  • I need to check in autumn when I get back to Finland if I could make small series of those
    forks.

    Fork and axle is made out of scratch, exept thread is adopted from old fork.
    Hub I use whit it is from wheelchair. Its hard to tell how I made it whitout pics.
    Its kind a machining, welding, grinding...

    you could always get a phil wheelchair hub and convert that, they are quite often on the bay.

  • Bear in mind he is in Slovenia, I sincerely doubt that any manufacturers of quality (or any) parts that we know and love have expanded their export operations that far.

    Hahaha. Yep, street bike parts are easy to get here but. Fixed or pure track stuff
    is hard to get here. Here used to be 2 velodromes but last one closed early 2000.
