The issue for me is that if they're trying to offload track/fixed stuff in general, then they'd be into the fixed 'scene' - so why don't they get to know the site before selling and stick around afterwards?

I don't think so, there's plenty of trackies who couldn't give a fig for forums or "scenes"

and they still need to buy and sell track stuff.........

but they tend to sell it for a fairer price than young peter and brian (the elton john and david furnish of track racing)
