OK, I've bought this old loaf off Ebay and I want to convert it into my own lunch. Should I strip the crust off or go for that retro look.
Also, does anyone know what size ham it takes, I think the loaf is a baguette or something else french breaded.
its become quite popular in the trendier parts of town to let your loaf gain a bit of mould...and then clear coat over the top.
personally i think it looks great but it might clash with the ham.
