  • This was the letter of the day in the London Paper yesterday.... I've noticed that the London Paper is quite anti-cyclists.

"The London Paper informs us that in spite of the fact that there are 77,000 fewer cars in central London than before the congestion charge was introduced the roads are just as clogged. The reason for this is obvious. Ever since this additional tax on motoring was brought in, the number of cyclists has been burgeoning so that now there is hardly any room for cars. The scheme which was supposed to give us clearer streets is being abused by cyclists who are able to use the roads for free to the detriment of those of us who are paying to reduce congestion. If the scheme is to work as originally intended, selfish cyclists should be forced to pay the congestion charge too Timothy Daniels WC1".

errrr what about taxis, minicabs, motorcyclists, mopeds??? and if dear Timothy lives in WC1 he gets 90% discount on the CC.
