i watched an episode...i think it was the opening to the las Vegas series.
anyhow...the 'cops' were looking for this girl who had gone missing in the desert.one of the guys had his binoculars out scanning the horizon;he stopped on a small pile of rocks which must have been a sign from the missing woman.he shouts to his partner and passes her the bins,he points it out and she looks using the binoculars...she spots the rocks.they both run what must have been two steps to where the rocks stand.
the binoculars were completely unnecessary...fucking morons.
