  • great letter scott love the ford focus line, awesome straps too!

  • right, was putting this off for ages but have now decided to put myself on the waiting list. 7 months is plenty of time to put enough money aside.

Only problem is, the Theo or the Archie? I would use it pretty much every day for all sorts so need a good bit of room for the odd big shop and such. So I don't want to opt for the Theo only to think 'if only I'd gone for the Archie' if you know what I mean. Do you reckon the Theo would be big enough for me? Easy enough to say 'just go big' but will I end up just getting lost inside such a big bag? Stupid musings I know but if I'm making such an investment I'd like to get it right.

  • theo is big enough for all normal things and the not so normal

  • Is the "Theo" the one you were lugging mattresses around in that day the Brooklyn lot were coming Scott?

    that was enormous.

  • Hey scott

Have you used anything in the powerstrap-a-likes to stiffen them/keep them sprung out in an arch?
The real ones seem to use a fold and the type of the material to do it. I tried using zipties affixed inside. That, along with having mine velcro adjustable, didn't work very well. After not too long if you mis judged it and stood on the strap it wouldn't pop back up when you tried again, and I would spend a while trying to flick it up with my toe before giving up and having to ride unclipped untill the next set of lights.

Anyway they look cool, and make me want to have another go at making mine work.

ps. stop making random cool things for emilie and get on with our bags :)

  • All the fly posters in Glasgow ain't worried about the council. It is the guy that will break your legs if you fly post in one of his spots. If he doesn't catch you he will turn up at your night and make sure to fuck something up.

  • it is nothing to do with scott, as he said earlier, he supplies a sticker with his products, if someone who bought the product, has a sticker and decides to stick it somewhere it is down to him.

  • I'm well aware of that, I did read the thread. I'm just saying the council are just a bunch of fan dans and you can ignore them quite safely.

  • it was the other bit i was posting about, you saying the guy who's spot it is will turn nasty over something someone else has done

  • Aye, only fly posting though. Not stickers. When I'm out flyposting in Glasgow the look out is only half bothered being spotted by the police because they will take away your paste only.

This guy will beat you to the floor and cover you in your paste. Which in the middle of a Glasgow winter, is not a nice experience.

  • ah, gotcha, no worries here then .

  • fuckin hell, brutal...

  • hi scott,

just wondering if i've been put on the waitlist? asked for a ninja a while back.

    cheers.

  • Day two of using the strap-on's and I love them. They're really nice and secure. They stood up to a day of Polo in the rain and left me wanting for nothing. Really secure feeling with no flex, will give you all an update when I've been using them for a month or so.

  • Ah sorry, my mistake. Put me down for an Archie then please. Do we discuss options later?

  • Scott, not sure if you got the message I sent a while ago, could you put me on the list for an Archie
    Thanks

  • nice straps dickhead :)
