The story: J-D-S-H - tall, handsome, thirtysomething, rakish good looks, could pass for a toff on a duck hunt. Chrissyg: his gal, sweet, tender, kind, but - heartbreakingly - o'erseas, on the other side of the world, having a gap year or a sabbatical, you figure. He says to her: listen hun, let's save the phonebills, yep let's even save skype for that special occasion. She says: how, dearest? He says: yo earth, join the lfgss thing i be plugged into theze dayz. She: WTF? He: Trust in a nigger, word is bond.
Chrissyg joins - 07.28.08. J-D-S-H can't believe it. His gal, on his forum, on their forum. Across time and space they can communicate - but J-D-S-H is a man as well as a gent. Pming can't be used for trysts, least not in his book. He schools her quietly in the ways of the forum.
09.08.08, 0033hrs. She blunders terribly with an obvious question about helmets.
J-D-S-H swoops in like an armoured prince on a bungee, soothing his sweetheart before she can get flamed by the dragons that linger and snoop. He urges her to think on her approach. He shows how she can empower herself. And through it all he is as gentle with her as they will be with their first-born.
