i'm not an a fixed but a singlespeed mongral type thing. working in newcastle for the next 2 weeks, up for some riding. Can't make wed night (Chef hours!) but i'm about on friday day and sunday day/night and the following monday day/night if anyone wants to ride.

Guys it just started raining pretty heavy at mine, don't think this ride os gonna happen, maybe next week the weather will be better.

i had a word with myself....going to try and get a fixed set up sorted on friday, got a flip flop so should be easy enough. anyone got any suggestions of where to go, was thinking about denton then that place on sheilds road if they couldn't help.

I'm up for a sunday ride! as long as its after 5pm.

What do you need to do to get a fixed setup? I reckon denton is the best atm. And edinburgh cycles are good. Everywhere else is either really snobby or doesn't want anything to do with fixed gears.

Who works for recykebikey? I was thinkin of doing some voluntary work for them fixing up the bikes as I'm as bit of a bum at the min..

I bought an old racer from them a few months ago and just finished converting it to fixed, just need some pedals and I can ride it..
