I blew three tubes without even getting the wheel on the bike!
First tore whilst levering it on - in a damn hurry and put a little too much air in the tube, new ribs loose with the trye lever.
Second had a small hole in already, fixed it and got it to 90psi and it exploded
Third i blew up on its own (maybe there was a fault in the tyre/rim?) got to 80psi and exploded adding several years to my cat who was sneaking in to the room to rub me up for more food
(both the exploding tubes were halfords (freebies) and been in the cuboard for 9 months. i have had them for over a year and they haven't degraded?! still they are going back)
