get a custom njs bike?
http://njsframes.blogspot.com/2007/07/pink-bridgestone-njs-keirin-frame.htmlThe 3Rensho's are all gorgeous there and the Levant with the neon pink Ocean stickers is A+ but aside from the new Panasonic's they're all second hand standard frames basically, I'm trying to weigh up having an old used frame like that as opposed to a nice new custom made Broaklands or somesuch.........I really do want a 3Rensho though.....What to do, what to do, what to do!!

If I go NJS I'll probably refinish it.....unless it's particularily tidy but that means expensive...the other thing is the vast majority of NJS frames have dents in the top tubes.....bit annoying.....

nope, you can get a brand new, custom built ocean frame from rene for $1060. or €690 or £544...
I deal in both custom OCEAN Cycle Factory frames, and Panasonic Keirin frames. These are new custom order frames which start at around $1040 for Panasonic semi-custom, $1060 for OCEAN full-custom.

theres toooo many Vivalo . . .
wonder why njs took there tag of there frames . . . -

Yeah I know what you mean, it's a bit try hard to get absolutely everything NJS...have to admit though, most of the NJS gear is really really nice....except those narrow ass saddles!!

They took away the NJS accreditation because a fork on a Vivalo bike broke during a race, don't know exactly the whole story, if anyone was badly hurt or anything but that's the gist of it

meh - Japanese shit has always been cool. Yohji Yamamoto, Commes des Garcons, Miyake.. same vibe I reckon - clean, sharp, hip, exclusive, pricey as fuck..

Heh heh heh, don't worry mate I actually live in Dublin...although I might be moving to London for work in a while and I'm over and back a good bit for work so I wouldn't mind building a second bike so I can leave my current runabout in London and have my nice one at home
So I've been thinking for my next bike of going mad and saving for something extra nice, probably an old Keirin frame (3Rensho, Nagasawa, Watanabe etc...) or else goiong for something like a Broaklands St. Fighter( Want a Pipebomb but it just seems like too much money) Alternatively any suggestions anyone has for a cool frame under the €1000 mark would be welcomed
