no they are fucking shite. I was drunk, and had lent my camera to my dad for a while (only fair as he got me in to photography). Anyway, I couldn't get the flash to work properly (ETTL) in manual (shutter/apeture)mode, so ended up switching to AV, which had been set to manual flash (which I didn't know). So basically my flash was running at 1/16th power all night*. Everything came out so shit, I almost didn't post the photos up.

I now know that a Canon G9 won't run ETTL in fully manual mode, which I didn't know before...**
