You could get an existing carbon disc, then take it to a well equipped university workshop where they deal with carbon fibre and have a cnc laser cutter. Give them a 1:1 adobe Illustrator/autocad line plot and away you go!
A lot of small industrial workshops will have the laser cut, but carbon fibre is dangerous.

I found a picture of a handmade wooden dish wheel with hearts cut into the disc a while back and can't remember where I saw it.
Does anyone know of a good company that makes custom carbon discs?? I want one with all four houses of cards cut into the disc.
Any suggestions would be great
