Ive got a new headset for my new build, im spending a fair bit more money than im accustomed too so want to take a little more care in putting it together.
So this new headset is the type with roller needle bearings, and i was wondering whether theres any reason why the usual thick stuff I plonk into bikes would not be the best choice?
I have weldtite Lithium White grease and a tub of toffee coloured bearing grease from an auto shop.

Would something thinner suit the needle bearings?
