that's really cnuty of me. sorry. i'm more into classic bikes so personally, i'd have left it as was. but you did a good job on the restoration and the bits of visible wood look cool. it's a special frame and it'll make a really unique and interesting hipster bike, i'm sure you'll have no probs selling it.

this was on ebay and was posted here in the ebay finds section. Funny, it just keep re appearing.
Hi, Im a forum rookie but here goes..
Looking to sell my recently restored lombardi frame.
Essentially it is a track frame completely faired in with wood. Frame takes a 650 front wheel so maybe the wood was applied as a sort of 'primitive' way to make the frame more aerodynamic for the pursuit.
Whatever the case, it is completely unique and looks the dogs balls.
Sorry, I dont have a 650c wheel so it is shown here with a 700c for representation.
Original black photo is to show gaps and proportion with 650 c front wheel.
Comes with Shimano 600 BB and headset installed
Measurments:
Seat tube: 51.5 cm/cc
Top tube: 54cm/cc
Spacing 100/120
Threading: British
Seatpost size: 26.8
Looking for reasonable offers to cover original frame and resto materials.
