I bust out a rear HED disc (brought off Brian!) and a front Aerospoke round town and it isnt nearly as bad as people make out - obviously if its really windy i swap out the rear wheel for something more sane, the disc is tough but has zero give and transmits every bit of shit road surface through your spine (not helped by my choice of frame). Plus the sound it makes when going along is awesome . .
