on paper it doesn't look too likely one group catching the other. starting on 45 min intervals and assuming 20, 25, 30 kph average the cross-over point is at around 90k, go figure. so much for the arithmetic of cycling. its all theory anyway. looking forward to another fun ride.

Christ it's saturday. I get up at 6.30 every day. Maybe I should have a kiddy that would get me up nice and early any day of the week. I'm meeting a friend in Brixton after 8 but I'll try catch up the sightseers group. Leave a trail of spoke cards for us. After trying fixed to Dunwich a few weeks ago I'm too scared to ride the downs without gears so it's gear mountain bike with ickle slick tires. And just to add to the cool factor i'm putting a rack on to.

Just been down and the first group are off, with only a near fatality. Skullhead rode out in front of a car so that he would'nt be left behind!

had to abort after a white van decided to drive straight into me on a roundabout.
