A brand logo is a fucking advert. It's innate. Why let yourself be duped by marketers that you're not providing free advertising when you wear/use a product that bears a logo, particularly a bold one.
In some cases people might be happy to promote a product in this way - if you're a satisfied customer, why not - but buying a product ostensibly for the branding/logo is a sad manifestation of how many people perceive their own identity these days ie. feeling a need to buy one that's been sanctioned by some capitalist pig.
