Sounds confusing. Pics?

if it's wrong, rebuild it. cos it's wrong cos 2 wrongs make a right

I realised what I did, I have put the second group in as lead spokes, so they are all upside down (slotted through the wrong way). Take apart tonight :-(

left and right side hole interpretation is different between people. smallbrownbike uses the opposite side, as in theory you get better angle access to nipple. i lace same side to same side. if it looks fine, i wouldn't bother.

I'm with SBB. Dogsballs will tell you that I'm wrong.

i wouldn't bother.
Cool, that's the kinda advice I like.
Hows the BMX?

rebuild: I find having a pre-built wheel in front of you to guide you through it avoids co*k ups...

might this put more strain on one side of his flange?
-
• #12
doubt it

A strained flange is not pleasant.... apparently

Not that anyone really cares, but I rebuilt it 'properly'. Snowflake next build I think.
Thanks for the advice chaps (and chapesses?)
Just laced up my new phils, and in my haste to get them done, I think I have laced right hand to left hand if you get what I mean. Standard 3x lacing and looks normal, but the adjustment pairs are out, straight pairs are coming from the same side of each flange, and crossed pairs from different sides. Normal 3 x should be straight pairs from different sides and crossed from the same I think.
Rebuild or leave alone?
