also what size is your chain ring? I had a similar problem and it was a combination of a slightly off chain line 52t chain ring and 175 cranks. It used to pop of when I was starting off at lights etc, after several starts and stops trying not to fall off looking at the cranks I noticed there was a slight flex in the cranks when starting off and because of the slightly off chain line it was just enough to make the chain hop off. Maybe your chain is quite tight already and has no room to hop off and breaks...im rambling now cant remember what i wrote and i need tea ....cant be bothered to check for engrish and sense
