Got my new bike yesterday! Had a spin on it from Gloucester Rd to Whitechapel, Whitechapel to Balham, and back to Whitechapel. Fun fun fun fun fun!!

Nearly got shmooshed by a couple of impatient drivers trying to overtake, though... used the "C" word for the first time in my life. Had to yell "Oi, watch it!" at stupid pedestrians who tried to cross the street even though the light was green in my favor. Methinks I'm well on my way to becoming an angry cyclist who looks down on all motorists and peds.

Need to sort out insurance for the new bike, as soon as that's done I'll start riding into work, woooooooooooooooo!
