Well,
That was a great ride. 104km in the burning sun along a very lovely route. Some nice woodland areas. Some pretty serious hills.
Will definitely do another one. Only myself, Lebowski and North London Lights made it from the forum. We were all riding fixed. I saw a couple more on fixed, but yes the majority were on road bikes. And yep, we did get dropped a few times. But thats only cos we weren't really trying, eh Andy?

Ha ha, speak for yourself Mike. Those last 9 miles from the pub to home HURT!
It was a good ride though. A lot more hilly than I'm used to. Hats off to the guys that did the 200k one.

Did a 200k up into the Peak District and then back and forth across the Cheshire Plains. Wouldn't recommend it on fixed unless you dearly love the kind of effort to ascend/descend 17%s

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I was up all the night before bang-on-it and smoking spliffs pretty much the whole way round
