  • personally i don't see the value of re-painting a vintage frame, unless it is totally and utterly shagged. more often than not, the original finish will be more durable and hard waring. just polish it and fill in scratches with hobby enamel. my 2c.

    Would tend to agree mate if it looked half decent but currently it's not original and doesn't even have the right brand decals on it! As it is now:

    I wrote to Gazelle with the frame no. and they're saying it was built in 1969, would be nice to do something that was true to the era - think the bright yellow and red could fit that.
