    User error.

    ;-)

Get them to check it out and they might give you free stuff. Free stuff good.

Brompton service / company have been really helpful to me in the past so certainly worth a call, they sent me some free stickers once as mine had worn off.

Have just spoken to Brompton, they are certainly quite worried about the whole situation. Usual thing would be to take the bike back to the shop I purchased it at for them to replace the parts and send them onto Brompton. I explained the fact that I got it from my insurance company (last one was stolen) it wouldn't be possible. They discussed couriering the bike direct back to them for repair (2-3 weeks), but upon mentioning that I work about a mile from their factory if I get it to them today they'll have it repaired in 1-2 days!

I have an unused 50t 175 Truvativ Touro, forged 6061 aluminum cranks, 6061-AL chainring, alloy chainguard, crank set off a Dahon you can have for free if you can get to sw6, same as in this pic:

Thanks mate, but probably not needed now. Very grateful for the offer though.

geez, battle of the fatties. hippy, prav and sam are trying to take ur title!!

I'm looking at it as thighs made of steel rather than a weight issue...
