If you feel like it, at point number 9, you could nip off the main road and go up the deserted Beckton Alp, previously used as a dry ski slope and location for battle scenes in Full Metal Jacket. The view's okay, there's a weird wooden viewing platform that's gradually disintegrating, and the path that spirals up to the top is all cracking apart and overgrown with brambles and stuff. It's a proper cult landmark, and the highest man-made hill in London.
