weekend's perfect, how far are you willing to transport the bike for me to pick it up? it's a bit annoying that the East London Line is closed.
-
• #9
The bike will be ed's on Sunday.
-
• #10
Wow thats a good price. I just bought a raleigh clubman framed bike, single speed (my first single speed!) for 70, and thought I was getting a good deal but maybe not!!
-
• #11
Is this sold? if ed does not want it ill take it off your hands
-
• #12
Nah, at least I dont think so. But im just trying it out, got my mountain bike half inched and thought it would be fun to get an old cheap single speed. Ridiculously fast and good fun

It's a perfect sized bike for my 5'4 girlfriend, my plan is to respray it and built it up again.
having said that, I'll come back here and post stuff that I took off the bike and give it away, the reason why I'm giving it away is because I already buying it off MJC, and it would be a bit wrong of me to try and sell every single part off the bike and make even more profit than MJC, thus everything will be free.

I like the way you talk about your girlfriend. what colour are you spaying her?
-
• #18
well, probably either a pastel pink (with either white V or green V), metallic black (with pink deep V) or summat else, it's really suppose to be a surprise of how it'll turn out.

I'm already interested in the handlebars if they're no good to you..

Once the bike is yours Ed, feel free to sell/trade/give/freecycle the various unwanted parts however your needs dictate or your heart desires.
-
• #21
if you don't want the bars I can change for scruffy drops that need a good clean.
-
• #22
magnanimous of you MJC

Really ?
21" for someone 5'4 ?
-
• #24
21" is about 54cm.
-

my old bike was 22", it's quite small for my height (6'1) and it seemed a reasonable size for her, so one size down is probably ok.
Raleigh Flyer 21" ready to roll, geared, french bars, collect new cross.
