As an outside to London I'm always amazed how people play party politics in an almost blind fashion.
The guy cycles, which is real evidence that he gives a shit. Whatever his motive he cycles the bike everyday. He's not sheople. Its telling that he doesnt just talk to talk, or belong to the "correct" party but that he actually gets up in the morning and cycles. Its just too convenient to play politics according to parties, it shows a lack of understanding and involvement in politics. Especially since labour is essentially right wing.
Getting your bike stolen is horrible. You feel like an idiot, you doubt yourself and your sensibility, you feel victimised, etc. (No doubt some bright spark will quote these things as being how you feel when Torys win elections).

As a cyclist, I feel bad for the guy.
Peace
