He deserve it for not locking his bike up properly and using a shitty lock, obviously an MTB are easily target simply because they're MTB.

And it's Portobello, not exactly a bike crime-free area, especially in weekends.

Nobody deserves to have their bike stolen. The thieves are at fault not the victim, whoever they are.
